BARD'S TALE

The bard did sing a tearful tune
'Bout a black mystery rune
Said it was an evil stone
That did play the devil's tone

If you ever heard its song
Dead you'd be ere too long
Over you it'd cast its spell
Sending you straight to Hell

There's no cure for its curse
You'd end up in a hearse
Taking a trip to your grave
And you'd be the devil's slave

To do his bidding left and right
Join the creatures of the night
Creeping about in the dark
Looking for an easy mark

Listen my children, heed this tale
Do not follow the black rune's trail
As a mystery, it just should stay
And you'll live to see another day
