If life starts looking divine
As if everything is fine
Reality rears its head
Thus filling me with dread
This eternal sadness
Erases thoughts of gladness
That I might hold inside
Just my tensions do abide
Causing some mental strain
And all my energies to drain
A binge of self destruction
Calls for reconstruction
Compassion is the answer
I think on this we can concur
To be able to feel some empathy
Or just show a bit of sympathy
Can help someone to cope
By giving needed hope
Try to mitigate the healing
Of others with this feeling
