FLYING FREE

Watching the birds flit from tree to tree
I wish, like them, to be flying free
Soaring high without a care
No worries and no miseries to bear

Singing out with happy voice
From dawn to dusk would be my choice
Fly around from place to place
Taking life at my own pace

But a bird I can never be
I am fated to just be me
Living life the best I can
With all the joys and pains of man
