Nothing the same as it's ever been
The town has been totally changed
Every life rearranged
But years passed by at a fast clip
Old friends quickly drifted apart
Gone places to make a new start
Wonder how friendships could go awry
Nothing's ever the same as it has been
You just can never go home again
