OCTOBER
October makes its presence known
Through air so crisp and clear
Harvest moon sits low in the sky
The logs blaze in fireplaces

In the many colors we are shown
Oranges, reds, yellows, and gold
Glorious hues bright and bold![]()
Honking of geese one can hear
Leaves falling from the trees
Float and swirl in the breeze![]()
As wispy clouds go scudding by
Growing longer are the nights
Brightened by haloed lights![]()
Glowing softly on our faces
To fight a chill in the air
Make hot cocoa we can share
Greeneyed Angel
