SWIMMING IN CHOCOLATE

I had a dream the other night
Really gave me quite a fright
I, in a pool of chocolate swimming
Across its surface slowly skimming

Suddenly pool began to shrink
What happened I couldn't think
I looked around for the cause
What I saw caused me to pause

A chocolate thief standing there
Siphoned it to I know not where
"Stop" I shouted but he went on
Until it all had been withdrawn

No more chocolate, not one drop
Because that thief would not stop
Couldn't he leave my chocolate be
Why would anyone do this to me

Chocolate is my favorite thing
Really making my heart sing
But think the thief did me a favor
Though I love that chocolate flavor

Looking at the calorie chart
Too much chocolate isn't smart
Once it's passed through my lips
It just goes straight to my hips
